Overview
This privacy policy covers all apps and services published by Nostios. Your privacy is important to us — across every product we make.
The short version: None of our apps collect, transmit, or store your personal information on external servers. We have no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. All data stays on your device.
This policy is organized by product. Jump to the section that applies to you:

This website is hosted on Ghost(Pro). We do not use cookies for tracking, do not run analytics, and do not serve ads. Ghost's hosting infrastructure may collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type) as part of normal web hosting operations. We do not access or use this data. For details, see Ghost's Privacy Policy.
Resonance
Resonance is a podcast player for iOS. All data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers and have no access to your data.
Information We Do Not Collect
Resonance does not collect, store, or transmit:
- Names, email addresses, or any contact information
- User accounts, passwords, or authentication tokens
- Device identifiers (IDFA, IDFV, or any unique identifiers)
- Usage analytics or telemetry
- Crash reports or diagnostics
- Advertising data
- Financial or payment information
Data Stored on Your Device
The following data is created and stored locally on your device only. We never have access to it.
- Podcast subscriptions — the podcasts you follow
- Episode progress — your playback position in episodes
- Listening sessions — records of when and how long you listened
- Location data (optional, opt-in) — GPS coordinates recorded while you listen, used to show your listening routes on a map
- Ratings and notes — your personal ratings, reviews, and notes about podcasts and episodes
- Playlists and queue — your organized episode collections
- Saved and hidden episodes — episodes you have favorited or hidden
- Search history — your recent search terms for convenience
- Downloaded episodes — audio files saved for offline listening
- App settings — your preferences (playback speed, skip amounts, theme, etc.)
Location Data
Location tracking is entirely optional. You can use all core features of Resonance without enabling it.
If you choose to enable location tracking:
- Location is only recorded while a podcast is actively playing
- Location data is stored locally on your device
- Location data is never transmitted to our servers (we have no servers)
- GPS coordinates are sent to Apple's reverse geocoding service (CLGeocoder) to convert them into human-readable place names (e.g., "San Francisco"). This is processed by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy.
- You can disable location tracking at any time in the app's Settings
- You can delete all location data from Settings > Data Management
Network Requests
Resonance makes the following network requests, none of which include user identifiers or tracking data:
- Apple iTunes API — to search for podcasts and retrieve podcast metadata
- Podcast hosting servers — to fetch RSS feeds, stream audio, and download episodes
- Apple CLGeocoder — to convert GPS coordinates to place names (only when location tracking is enabled)
We do not operate any servers. No data is sent to us.
Third-Party Services
Resonance contains no third-party SDKs, analytics frameworks, or advertising libraries. The app is built entirely with Apple's native frameworks. The only external services contacted are Apple's iTunes API, Apple's geocoding service, and podcast hosting servers (to fetch the content you subscribe to).
Data Export and Portability
You can export all of your data at any time through Settings > Data Management:
- JSON — full data export (subscriptions, sessions, ratings, location data)
- CSV — listening sessions and journal entries as spreadsheet files
- OPML — podcast subscriptions in a standard format compatible with other podcast apps
Data Deletion
You have full control over your data:
- Within the app: Settings > Data Management lets you delete downloads, listening history, location/route data, and ratings individually or in bulk
- Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all data from your device
- No server-side data exists — there is nothing to request deletion of beyond your device
Block Tower
Block Tower is a sort puzzle game for iOS. It is a fully offline game.
- No data collection — Block Tower does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information
- No network requests — The game is entirely offline and makes no internet connections
- No accounts — There are no user accounts, sign-ins, or authentication of any kind

General
Data Retention
Across all Nostios apps, data remains on your device until you choose to delete it or uninstall the app. There is no automatic data expiration. There is no server-side data retention because we do not operate servers.
Children's Privacy
Nostios apps are not specifically directed at children under 13. Our apps do not collect personal information from any user. Since there are no user accounts and no data is transmitted to any external server (other than Apple system services and podcast hosts in Resonance), there is no mechanism by which children's data could be collected or stored remotely.
Security
All app data is stored within each app's sandboxed container, protected by iOS's built-in security including device encryption and app sandboxing. No data is transmitted to external servers under our control.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of any Nostios app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
